Maj (ret) Catherine C. Clark is on the Board of Directors for Healing Paws for Warriors (HP4Ws); providing non-profit organizational guidance. 

 

Cathy enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserves as an Aeromedical Technician.  She took an active duty commission upon receiving her nursing degree from the University of Florida.  During her 25-year career she provided Emergency, Trauma and Inflight patient care during multiple deployments including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

 

She has been involved in animal rescue work for over seven years.  As a volunteer with Panhandle Animal Welfare Society and Saving with Soul pet rescue, she provided care and training for animals needing a forever home.  After witnessing the life-changing benefits a service dog can provide to a wounded Veteran, she joined the ranks of volunteers at HP4Ws giving both wounded warriors and shelter dogs a second chance.
