SMSgt (ret) John Zimmermann is on the Board of Directors for Healing Paws for Warriors (H4PWS); providing non-profit organizational guidance.

John served 21 years active duty in the United States Air Force as ground radio communications specialist and an electromagnetic spectrum manager. His first assignment was to RAF Alconbury, England where he met his wife, Deborah. During his career he deployed four times to Southwest Asia, once to the Caribbean Basin, and again to Hungary.

​

After retiring, John worked for several defense contractors before becoming the Chief Operating Officer at a rapidly growing software company where manages all aspects of day-to-day operations. Since his involvement he has helped scale business from 14 to 130+ employees and increased revenue by 400%.

 

John spends his free time with his wife Deborah, his two grandsons, and their rescue dogs Lexi and Phinny, both chocolate lab mixes.
